Geotechnical Gauge
This handy field tool is a flexible, water-resistant 5" x 7" plastic card on a cord that assists the driller, geologist, or engineer in making accurate and consistent observations. Features include actual sand grains fused to the plastic (from coarse sands to clays), soil and sand compacting classifications, USGS chart, six Munsell soil color hues, percentage chart, roundness chart, and a centimeter and inches scale.
