Pump System Sizer
This is a digital tool that will help you determine the size of the various components of a typical water pump system.
It is designed as an easy-to-use Excel® workbook and was prepared by contractors for contractors.
When data is entered describing the well parameters and system requirements, the Sizer will calculate the following items: drop pipe length, minimum drop pipe diameter, pipe friction loss, total dynamic head, pump size required, minimum wire sizes and well tank size.
Recently updated in 2012, it is now even more user friendly with more automatically populated fields and expanded pump curves for a wider variety of pump sizes.
